Plum Creek strives to create exceptional wines which are rich in flavor and which offer complexity, depth and finesse. We recognize the importance of site, climate, soil, drainage and other factors crucial to vineyard selection and production in a high-altitude climate. Grapes are harvested by hand in each vineyard, row by row, as optimum ripeness and maturity are reached.

To complement the efforts of the winegrower, Plum Creek’s style of winemaking aims at capturing the fruit essence of each varietal. Each wine is crafted in a style which focuses on balance and structure.

In the winery itself, oak barrels and towering stainless steel tanks and state-of-the art equipment complete the picture of a serious winery dedicated to producing premium wines. Plum Creek currently has total fermentation and storage capacity of more than 70,300 gallons, including more than 340 French, American and Hungarian oak barrels. All winemaking and bottling is done on the premises.

Plum Creek  produces wine in limited quantities, consistent with our dedication to quality and commitment to Colorado-grown grapes.
